Thang Foundation
is a non-profit organization which aims to develop creative and educational projects for children in Nepal. The projects focus on children’s books and reading pleasure.
Riki the pangolin is our fantastic mascot and the face of our foundation! He loves to ride his bike and read with kids! He also visits the bookstore every month with our children’s ambassadors to pick a new book!
The bookbag is an initiative in which compartments are filled with books.
These are portable mini-libraries in three reading levels, each level contains 50 children’s reading books. The purpose of the Book Bags is to let children in the Netherlands and Nepal read more.
